For this month's release, we have improved our security features. If you left your app open before logging out, you will now see a warning message to check if you are still there. If you didn't respond to the first message after some time, we'll log you out.

With this release, if you live in an EU country, you can now upload your EU COVID-19 vaccination certificates in PDF or image format.

After adding the new COVID-19 vaccine certificate feature in our last release, we've made a few improvements. We've also included a list of countries issuing EU COVID-19 vaccination certificates that the Yoti app accepts.

After adding an ID document, we now provide shortcuts to other relevant areas of the app to help you get straight to where you need to go.
In some EU countries, you can now import your COVID-19 vaccination certificate into Yoti. We'll check the details on your Yoti match your vaccination certificate, and store a digital vaccination card which can be launched from the home screen. We're planning on adding support for more countries soon.

It’s now easier to access your Yoti - just open the app and explore! When you want to access your personal details, you’ll still need to verify yourself with your PIN or fingerprint.
As of this month we are accepting more national IDs and driving licences, and will inform you if we don’t accept your ID document when issued before a certain date.

We’ve been working on a new feature for this month’s release that allows you to return to an incomplete share. When you start sharing details with a business but need to quit the app or add missing details, your progress will be saved. Your incomplete share will be saved in Activity for you to pick up where you left off.

We’re pleased to announce that the app has now been translated into German, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese.
We now also accept driving licences from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

We have added new functionality to the Yoti ID card. Once you’ve added a government-approved ID document and photo to your Yoti, you can use your Yoti ID card to safely prove your identity or age in person. You can now present your verified proof of age, date of birth or full name on screen, and present a QR code to securely share these details with other Yoti app users.

We’ve made it easier for you to prove your identity in person to other Yoti users. The new Yoti ID card features your name, photo and a QR code that can be scanned by another user to prove your identity without revealing everything about yourself.
